1997 JAGUAR XJ6L, 1 life down 8 lives left. in Eloy, AZ

$4,000 1997 JAGUAR XJ6L, 1 life down 8 lives left.

I am an avid Jaguar lover and owner and from time to time come across a car thats just to nice to let get sold off for parts. This is one of those cars. I bought this at an insurance auction as a State Farm Loss for collision damage to the right rear quarter and bumper. You can see in the picture the section of the rear quarter that was damaged. This is how I bought the car with this piece cut out. I then had a bodyshop welder re weld that panel back on and straighten it as best he could. I figured having the original piece is better than sectioning something else in.
Once this was done I then replaced the rear bumper with a perfect used one and repainted the quarter and bumper to match the Black metallic factory color.
So now its back to being a beautiful 2 owner, 78,000 mile car with all the options Jaguars come with. Besides tinted windows that give it that limo look, the L series is 5 inchs longer providing an outstanding ride for all passengers. The full leather and wood interior is in very very good condition with no open tears or wear. It looks as though the steering wheel was worn and repaired but looks fine to the normal eye. It even has the factory original Jaguar floor mats.
While the interior is in very very nice condition I will also say everything works including, power windows, door locks, seats, ice cold A/C with climate control, power trunk, tilt wheel with memory and the list goes on. What doesnt work are the clock nor the radio. The radio is an aftermarket AM/FM/CD player with detachable face. I know nothing about radios but the antenna works and the unit does light up just cant hear it.
With 78,000 miles the car drives and rides like new. Very very good tires on alloy wheels, drives straight, smooth, stops great and with its inline 4.0 litre 6 cylinder it still gets 20-25 mpg.
If you dont know anything about Jaguars I will let you know that the full sized versions (X300,305,308's) between [removed phone] were the most reliable. These cars will run to 200,000 miles with no major issues if maintained. The common issues are broken door handles, cup holders and antenna's. I can tell you the door handle was fixed the cup holder is not broken and the antenna works fine.
Please check Kelly Blue Book, private party clean money is $6200.00. Given this was an insurance loss it has a AZ salvage title but even then Kelly Blue Book private party is $4400.00.
My price is fair because I did some of the work myself. I can provide more pictures or just come see the car in person. Its a very nice car. If I had not recently purchased a XKR convertible I would keep it and drive it because its nicer than my 2000 XJ8 I currently drive.
